Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Troy, NY
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is seeking an Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field to join our athletics team. In this role, the Assistant Coach will collaborate with the Head Coach to lead and develop a competitive NCAA Division III track & field program. This full-time, 10-month position (40 hours per week for 40 weeks) offers a starting pay of $16.00 per hour, access to benefits, and may include on-campus housing. This is a fixed-term appointment with the possibility of extension for the following year.

These are fixed term positions, and may be seasonal, depending on the sport and the need. The incumbents provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach of relevant team; and may oversee one or more specified areas of a sporting discipline or a component of a team.

The Operations Coordinator for Women’s Ice Hockey supports the day-to-day operations of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s NCAA Division I program. This role manages video coordination (setup, filming, editing, and exchange), oversees team and recruiting travel logistics, supports event planning and fundraising activities, and assists with recruiting research and communication. The position requires strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as familiarity with collegiate-level hockey operations. Success in this role requires professionalism, flexibility with nonstandard hours, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
