The Major Gift Officer will serve as the Director of Development for the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences and as the lead advancement officer for the school, will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive advancement program to secure philanthropic resources for the top priority projects of the Institute and the school. The Major Gift Officer will work cooperatively and collegially with members of the Institute’s Central Advancement Office to effectively build successful fundraising programs for the school. The Major Gift Officer will lead on behalf of and support the Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences on matters pertaining to school fundraising. The Major Gift Officer will carry a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift prospects who have the capacity to make gifts in the range of $100,000 to $2.49 million.

Lead Business Administrator Troy, NY
The Lead Business Administrator will oversee assigned business functions in the School of Engineering. The Lead Business Administrator will be responsible for overseeing financial management of research in the portfolio including building processes and tools to assist faculty and portfolio leadership with planning and forecasting. The Administrator will be responsible for following Institute and sponsor guidelines for spending and budgeting, as well as responsible for preparing complex financial forecasts and reports. The Administrator is also responsible for providing analysis and forecasts for assigned business units, for monitoring education & general, designated, and restricted funds, and for preparation of other specific information, analyses, and reports as required by portfolio leadership and faculty investigators.
