Job Summary

TThe HR Specialist/Recruiter executes and implements recruitment and staffing strategies, with special emphasis on finding well-qualified and diverse pools of candidates for assigned jobs. The HR Specialist participates in pre-employment due diligence. The HR Specialist establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand the business units and position requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, psychology or a related field
• Two (2) years of related experience

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

Helpful Qualifications

• Certification(s) such as PHR, SHRM-CP are helpful
• Experience supporting employment sponsored work authorization is helpful, but not required.

• Knowledge of fair employment legislation and regulations
• Knowledge of current recruitment strategies, screening and interviewing techniques, and career counseling skills
• A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• the ability to effectively plan, organize and manage time and priorities
• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to navigate a complex organizational structure
• Effective negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives

Helpful Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

• Familiarity with hiring requirements for non-citizens is helpful, but note
