Job Summary

The Data Analyst provides the Dean and school leadership with data analysis to support strategic planning academic accreditation and ranking. The Analyst will also work with the Divisions of Strategic Communications and External Relations (SCER) and Enrollment Management to implement communication and marketing strategies that enhances enrollment, builds engagement of current and prospective students and promotes the Lally School.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two (2) or more of experience performing duties related to the position.

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is helpful, though not
• Experience in higher education
• Experience or coursework in marketing

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrated planning, organizing and effective time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Access and Excel, and ability to learn RPI’s data warehouse system
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Ability to work in fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
• Ability to work with a wide range of diverse internal and external constituencies


Business Hours with weekends or evenings occasionally required
