Job Summary
|
The Building Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of specified athletic facilities, including scheduling, maintenance, and custodial services. The building supervisor directly supervises Athletic Facilities Specialist(s) and student staff and is the liaison for athletic contests and internal/external events. The supervisor oversees inventory, issuance, laundry service, and repair for athletic equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
|
High School/Equivalent and seven (7) or more years of experience in athletic equipment and facilities. A valid US driver’s license required, and the successful candidate must become a Certified Pool Operator within six (6) months of employment
Applicants must meet stated minimum education and experience requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
|
- Professional equipment manager certification
|
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
|
- Ability to provide day-to-day direction to staff and lead projects
- Knowledge of athletic terminology and equipment
- Thorough knowledge of the methods, tools, equipment, and materials normally used in maintenance
- Ability to work under strict time constraints
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft and job specific software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours which may include, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
