Director of Development, School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (Major Gift Officer) Troy, NY
The Major Gift Officer will serve as the Director of Development for the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences and as the lead advancement officer for the school, will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive advancement program to secure philanthropic resources for the top priority projects of the Institute and the school. The Major Gift Officer will work cooperatively and collegially with members of the Institute’s Central Advancement Office to effectively build successful fundraising programs for the school. The Major Gift Officer will lead on behalf of and support the Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences on matters pertaining to school fundraising. The Major Gift Officer will carry a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift prospects who have the capacity to make gifts in the range of $100,000 to $2.49 million.
Facilities Engineer, EMPAC Troy, NY
The Facilities Engineer reports to the Director of Physical Plant and is responsible for the maintenance, preservation and economical operation of the mechanical and electrical systems as well as the general building structure and envelope of the Institute’s Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) and other campus facilities as assigned.

Sr. Program Administrator, Digital Gaming Troy, NY

Lead Business Administrator Troy, NY
The Lead Business Administrator will oversee assigned business functions in the School of Engineering. The Lead Business Administrator will be responsible for overseeing financial management of research in the portfolio including building processes and tools to assist faculty and portfolio leadership with planning and forecasting. The Administrator will be responsible for following Institute and sponsor guidelines for spending and budgeting, as well as responsible for preparing complex financial forecasts and reports. The Administrator is also responsible for providing analysis and forecasts for assigned business units, for monitoring education & general, designated, and restricted funds, and for preparation of other specific information, analyses, and reports as required by portfolio leadership and faculty investigators.
Assistant Dean, Student Success and Belonging Troy, NY
The Assistant Dean for Student Success and Belonging is responsible for providing leadership and direction of Student Success initiatives. The Assistant Dean collaborates with other portfolio areas throughout Student Life and across the Institute to advance efforts to foster the academic success for underrepresented minority students. The Assistant Dean provides leadership in developing and implementing programs and policies, which support the Institute’s vision for the recruitment, matriculation, success, and graduation of students who come from underrepresented backgrounds.

Ensemble Coordinator (Part-Time, Fall 2024 Semester) Troy, NY
The fixed term Ensemble Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the large musical ensembles at Rensselaer, which include the Rensselaer Orchestra, Concert Choir, and Wind Symphony. The Ensemble Coordinator will also serve as piano accompanist for the Rensselaer Concert Choir. Attendance at evening rehearsals is required as well as concerts for the large ensembles.  This appointment runs from August or September through December 31, 2024 and will require an average of 20 hours per week.
Director, Ticket & Revenue Generation Troy, NY
The Director of Ticket and Revenue Generation manages the strategic approach to ticket sales and new season ticket holder acquisition and supports the development of new revenue opportunities through sponsorships. The Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement manages the Institution's athletic marketing programs and collaborates with Institutional staff on annual signature events (i.e. Homecoming & Reunion, Family Weekend, etc.). The Director is responsible for both print and digital marketing campaigns that support revenue generation and publicity across all 23 RPI Athletics teams. Additionally, the Director manages the game-day event operations for all home football and hockey contests.

The Associate Director of the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing (IPTL) plays a crucial role in the transfer of cutting-edge intellectual property (IP) from our Institute to the marketplace. The Associate Director of the Office of Intellectual Property supervises IPTL staff and is responsible for directing all IP licensing and marketing activities, engaging with key stakeholders including researchers and startups, and overseeing the management of the IP portfolio, including iEdison compliance.
Manager, Finance Policy & Procedures (Fixed Term) Troy, NY
The position collaborates with the functional and service areas in Finance to manage policy life cycle - to develop, review, disseminate, archive, sunset, and train on campus-wide policies, policy revisions, and procedures that are owned by the Finance Division. This involves coordinating with policy owners within the Finance Division and within student financial service areas; and constituencies to ensure that all appropriate stakeholders are involved. Assistant Coach, Women's Hockey Troy, NY
The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Coach for Women’s Ice Hockey are to assist the Head Coach in the management and administration of a Division I Women’s Hockey program. The core responsibilities of the Assistant Coach are to recommend, implement and execute a successful recruiting philosophy and strategy to ensure student-athletes are committed and engaged academically, athletically, and socially. In addition, the Assistant Coach is responsible for preparing student-athletes both on and off the ice with instruction of an academic and personal nature. The Assistant Coach will also serve as coordinator for position-specific players and will assist in the development of all position players.
