The Associate Director, Research Computing provides leadership and vision for the development, support and maintenance of campus research computing and cloud services, including high performance and quantum computing. Associate Director, Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing Remote (US Only)
The Associate Director of the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing (IPTL) plays a crucial role in the transfer of cutting-edge intellectual property (IP) from our Institute to the marketplace. The Associate Director of the Office of Intellectual Property supervises IPTL staff and is responsible for directing all IP licensing and marketing activities, engaging with key stakeholders including researchers and startups, and overseeing the management of the IP portfolio, including iEdison compliance.
Manager, Finance Policy & Procedures (Fixed Term) Troy, NY
The position collaborates with the functional and service areas in Finance to manage policy life cycle - to develop, review, disseminate, archive, sunset, and train on campus-wide policies, policy revisions, and procedures that are owned by the Finance Division. This involves coordinating with policy owners within the Finance Division and within student financial service areas; and constituencies to ensure that all appropriate stakeholders are involved. Work with General Counsel and the Compliance Officer to ensure all applicable governing law, rules, and regulations are interpreted consistently. Work with the Risk Manager to ensure policies and procedures align with insurance coverage needs, and support risk mitigation efforts.
Director of Athletics Communication Troy, NY
The Director of Athletics Communications performs a variety of communication assignments related to media relations, game coverage, website maintenance, and social media platforms. The Director of Athletics Communications will also be responsible for the compilation of historical information and records for Rensselaer’s 23 varsity athletic programs, while also serving as a liaison with Rensselaer’s staff, student-athletes, and internal and external constituents, as well as the NCAA, Liberty League, and ECAC Hockey.
Manager, Advancement Communications Troy, NY
The Manager of Advancement Communications is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day marketing and communications activity within Institute Advancement, providing communications support and management for planned giving, annual giving, regional and constituent development, alumni engagement (including the RAA as needed), and events.
