The Business Administrator, Sr. will manage the assigned business functions of the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies including but not limited to providing support to the center faculty, staff, and students. The Business Administrator, Sr will provide comprehensive support and management with grant, award, and all applicable fund types within constellation and department, providing administrative, accounting, complete proposal assistance, budgeting, active reporting, final reporting, and making strategic recommendations to PI regarding award management. The Business Administrator, Sr provides timely processing, proactive management and proper open communication to keep PIs aware of fund status to ensure compliance at all levels at all times. Additionally, the Administrator will provide back-up support to the Business Manager and be able to assume, on an interim basis, the tasks assigned to the Business Manager when necessary, including center-wide financial management, personnel management, and providing ad-hoc reports to center and institute leadership. |
