Job Summary
|
The Operations Coordinator assists the Front of House/Box Office Manager in carrying out operations associated with guest services in EMPAC. As the initial point person for institute departments and external rental clients, the Operations Coordinator coordinates event staff in the areas of event building preparation, ticket sales, and guest services. The Operations Coordinator will also assist the Artist Services Coordinator when needed.

Minimum Qualifications
|
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of related experience including guest services or event coordination or relevant combination of experience, education and/or training
Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
|
Preferred Qualifications
|
- Associate’s Degree, preferred
|
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
|
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to perform advanced transactional financial functions.
- Ability to compose correspondence and reports
- Excellent planning, coordination, organizational and effective time management skills
- Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables and solutions in standard and unique situations
- Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, communication and organizational skills.
- Strong ability and knowledge of field specific operational/administrative functions
- Excellent attention to detail

- Knowledge of performing arts
- Valid US driver license
