Job Summary
|
These are fixed term positions, and may be seasonal, depending on the sport and the need. The incumbents provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach of relevant team; and may oversee one or more specified areas of a sporting discipline or a component of a team. The incumbent will assist the Head Coach with assigned aspects recruiting and training of athletes.

Minimum Qualifications
|
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: One (1) year of related experience
- Valid US Driver License
- Applicants must meet stated minimum education and experience requirements.
- Pre-employment physical required
|
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
|
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the specified sports program.
- Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
- Familiarity of athletic recruitment methods and techniques.
- Ability to guide student-athletes in area of specialty.
- Ability to initiate, develop and maintain appropriate contacts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to identify athletic skill levels of potential student athletes

Starting Salary/Rate
|
Expected hiring range: $16.00 - $17.00
