Job Summary

Assist the Front of House team in preparing for events and patrons. Greet and guide patrons into venues, answer questions, resolve ticketing issues, and distribute programs. Supervise student ushers as needed for individual events. Post- event requires cleanup and ensuring smooth guest departure. Support Artist services as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School/Equivalent with 1 or more years in Exemplary customer service in working with the public.
  • Box office, or theater house experience (in HS, or community theater).

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Desired experience: theater experience on show night dealing with public and patrons. 

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Clean drivers license.
  • Positive and friendly customer service skills
  • Ability to provide others direction.

Shift

Part time - weekends or evenings occasionally required

Salary Range/Rate

Expected hiring range:   $21.00-$50.00

This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer’s good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
