Building on Rensselaer’s long tradition of innovation at the intersection of science, technology, social sciences, and the arts, our attention is turned to emerging needs at the human/technology interface. Some of the areas that may be hiring include:

Minimum Qualifications

For research support positions, candidates must possess an associate degree or foreign degree equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience.

For Postdoctoral Research Associate, Research Associate, or Research Scientist positions, candidates must possess the relevant doctoral degree and experience.

Starting Pay Information:

Pay transparency disclosure:  The hiring salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer’s good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.

• Postdoctoral Research Associate: $55,500- $60,000
• Research Associate: $60,000 - $64,000
• Research Scientist: $66,000 - $95,000
• Sr. Research Scientist: $80,000 - $138,000
