Job Summary |
The Administrative Coordinator assists the Department Head and departmental faculty in day-to-day operations of the department. The coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies; assists and represents the Department by communicating with constituents; and handles multiple issues and concerns as they arise. Duties include working independently to successfully process the recruitment, hiring and promotion of faculty, managing the department’s educational assessment system, scheduling and facilitating departmental functions such as seminars and special events, as well as handling highly confidential information (salaries, performance evaluations, etc.) and preparation of documentation for appointments of faculty and staff etc. |

Expected hiring range: $20.00 - $23.63 per hour Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate’s salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials.
