Assistant Director, Game Day Operations in Troy, NY
The Assistant Director, Game Day Operations is responsible for designing and executing an exceptional fan experience to elevate the visibility and support of Rensselaer’s Division I hockey programs and the game day operations of 21 Division III teams. This position plays a critical role in creating dynamic, engaging, and seamless events that energize fans and fulfill sponsorship agreements. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Assistant Athletic Director, Communications & Marketing, as well as the Director, Ticket and Revenue Generation, to ensure every aspect of the game day experience runs smoothly and leaves fans excited to return. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in broadcast technologies including ESPN+, Hudl, Flo, or other streaming platforms; possess an understanding of—or a strong willingness to learn—scoreboard technologies such as Daktronics; and be highly skilled in game day script writing and the execution of run-of-show plans, especially for Division I hockey.
