Job Summary
|
The Operations Specialist is responsible for responding to financial aid inquiries from prospective and current students and families as well as assisting in creating and updating student financial aid records.
|
Minimum Qualifications
|
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an office or professional setting involving customer service or counseling
Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
|
Preferred Qualifications
|
Prior experience in financial aid, higher education, counseling, business, or related field
|
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
|
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other employees, faculty, and students in the campus community.
- Knowledge of various word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess the skills necessary to deliver exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic financial functions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize projects, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Business Hours: Monday - Friday

Starting Salary/Rate
|
Expected hiring rate: $18.50 per hour
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate’s salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials.
