Job Summary

This is a Brooklyn, NY based position.  The Center for Architecture, Science & Ecology (CASE) seeks a Sr. Administrative Coordinator to supports its growth and development through the coordination of its pursuit of grants, its marketing and communications programs, and its administrative operations. The Sr. Administrative Coordinator handles the day-to-day operations of the Center’s office, with support from the Division of Research staff. In addition, the Sr. Administrative Coordinator enhances the visibility of CASE design, research and sustainability activities and strengthens relationships with constituencies by working with institute communications and foundations relations staff to develop messaging and collateral to effectively promote CASE both online and through events.

Salary range data provided as required by NYC's Salary Transparency Law: 

Range minimum $ 50,000.00
Range midpoint $ 65,000.00
Range maximum $ 80,000.00

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree in related field and five (5) or more years in of progressively responsible experience

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following experiences are helpful:
• Experience with graphics and social media applications
• Experience in fundraising or non-profit grant management
• Experience coordinating or directly managing communication campaigns and events

• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team; excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing situations and to balance conflicting priorities
• Demonstrated success in taking initiative, meeting deadlines, adapting to changing priorities, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external constituents
• Ability to deal with a variety of situations
• Ability to work with a wide range of diverse internal and external constituencies
• Ability to regularly report progress effectively
• Demonstrated planning, organizing and effective time management skills; strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite software applications


Business Hours: Monday - Friday, with occasional evening and/or weekend events
