Job Summary

The Director for Recruitment and Partnerships for the RPI Lally school of Management will develop, oversee, and execute Lally’s recruitment strategy and have primary responsibility for partnering with domestic and international organizations that are approved by campus partners to identify and recruit qualified students for consideration for admission to the Lally School of Management. The Director will collaborate with multiple offices across Rensselaer to develop strategies and corresponding materials to promote recruitment efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in admissions, marketing, or recruiting
  • Valid U.S. Driver License

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

• Demonstrated ability to engage, develop relationships with, and influence working professional audiences, including prospective students and alumni
• Ability to identify a new idea or concept and bring it to fruition
• Ability to develop sustained relationships with all internal and external constituencies
• Ability to deal effectively with a dynamic and fast-paced office that demands agility, flexibility and responsiveness
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to make a compelling public presentation
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to maintain service levels to many different constituencies

Shift

Business hours with occasional weekend or evenings required

Travel

Regular overnight travel is required (up to 25%)

Driving

Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use

Starting Salary/Rate

Expected hiring range: $75,000- $90,000

Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate’s salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer’s good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
