Job Summary |

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in transportation systems. The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree or foreign degree equivalent in civil/environmental engineering or in a closely aligned field, a record of high-quality research and teaching, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and have attained national and international visibility. Candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor must exhibit, through their accomplishments, the promise of future distinction in research, scholarship, and education. Candidates for the rank of Associate Professor must possess a record of excellence in scholarship as demonstrated by an emerging national and/or international reputation and a significant funding record, high quality educational activities, including teaching and advising, and a significant level of service to their department, institute, and the profession. Candidates possessing professional engineering registration or the ability to obtain it will be considered favorably. The ideal candidate will complement the existing strengths of the transportation program and ongoing research of the transportation faculty. |
