The Public Safety Lieutenant is responsible for coordinating routine patrols of the campus utilizing both staff and security technology. The Lieutenant provides leadership to ensure consistent and equitable enforcement of local, state, and federal laws and university regulations. The Lieutenant has responsibility for conducting and coordinating investigations within the Rensselaer Community including reviewing and approving reports on incidents and crimes and as well coordination of Title IX complaint investigations with the Division of Human Resources.
