The Marketing Manager carries out marketing, outreach, and networking for the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC), including helping to develop and promote New York State’s sustainable fashion industry. The Marketing Manager works with RPI faculty and staff, other FIC Consortium members, and partner organizations to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and outreach program to promote the FIC, its mission and vision, and NYS products and activities in fashion supply chain segments such as fiber-related agriculture, biomaterials, fiber processing, finishing, design, and production. These activities are in collaboration with FIC Consortium members including the Hudson Valley Textile Project’s Farm to Market Business Development Director.
Donor Impact Officer Troy, NY
The Donor Impact Officer works with members of the Advancement Communications team to implement successful internal and external communications across the Institute Advancement division, with a specific emphasis on all stewardship-related communications and support. The Donor Impact Officer plays a key role in executing these communications through drafting, editing and proofing internal and external messaging and content for electronic and print distribution, including IA websites, social media, emails, and print publications.

The Business Manager is responsible for managing the business operations of the Lally School of Management which include finance, budget, grant administration, academic support, and policy interpretation. The Business Manager will represent the school on business affairs to the Rensselaer Community and will serve as a resource to faculty and staff to ensure consistent administrative and operational practices that comply with Institute policies. The Business Manager actively participates in the short and long range financial and performance planning of the school.
Accessibility Specialist Troy, NY
The Accessibility Specialist in Student Disability Services assists the Director in managing all elements of the Institute’s response to and preparation for students enrolling with a documented disability. The Accessibility Specialist will receive and organize certification documentation and issue accommodation letters as requested by the Director. The Accessibility Specialist will assist the Director in delivering accommodation letters to students.

The Process Engineer will advance the state-of-the-art integrated circuit processing capabilities of CMDIS, and assist, instruct, and advise facility users in order to enable them to achieve their research and teaching objectives. The Process Engineer will focus on direct support of DOD (Nordtech) tool set both in the Micro- and Nano- Fabrication Clean Room (MNCR) and Characterization Core, and on support of Nordtech Users and Projects. This includes processing samples and training of Internal / External users on the equipment set.

The Repairer also works as a part of a team to complete larger scale renovations. The Repairer participates in on-call rotation for off-hour repairs in Technology Park Office, Pat’s Barn and tenant leased facilities.

The Locksmith is responsible for making and issuing keys, and repairing and coring locks. The Locksmith participates in the rotating on call schedule for the Access Control shop.
