Job Summary

The Administrative Specialist provides general administrative support to the Office of Alumni Engagement. The Administrative Specialist performs a variety of administrative duties, including assisting with scheduling, correspondence, travel and event planning, and file and database maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• 3 years of work experience in an office or administrative setting

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, access, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to compose routine correspondence and reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to perform basic financial functions
  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment

Shift

Business Hours with weekends or evenings occasionally required (events)

Starting Salary/Rate

Expected hiring range: $19.00 - $21.63 per hour
